Future / Plans
Short term
Whilst one in eight can sustain itself at a very basic level it needs external funding to carry on its work, i.e. education classes, support work, etc. External funding is becoming more difficult to secure so we have created a basic plan to try to help ourselves.
This consists of hopefully opening a Charity Shop near to our location which would help towards some of our future funding needs. This would cost about £15k to start but should be self financing afterwards.
Long term
We Have a plan to extend our premises for class rooms so as to secure educational funding, also to rent rooms for functions etc. this would take a lot of money i.e. £500,000 so until we can access funding this is on the back burner for a while.
