Gift Aid
If you are a Taxpayer or Business, please read on:
We are a Registered Charity and therefore dependent on donations of cash or goods from Businesses and members of the public. One way you can help us is through the Inland Revenue’s Gift Aid program.
You may already know about this scheme. If as a taxpayer you donate money to a Charity, the Charity can reclaim the tax at the basic rate. Currently this is 28p in the £1. What this means for every pound you donate to us, as a charity we claim 28p off the taxman.
You can donate any amount. Below are links a set of guidelines, a Gift Aid Declaration form and a Standing Order form. You can print out the forms and fill them in.
You will need only the Declaration Form if you are making a one-off donation. You will need both forms if you are making a Standing Order. We are sure you will be only too pleased to help.
