Volunteers / Staff
One in Eight is run by volunteers and staff and there are usually about 40 people involved in the project at any one time, with between 100 to 200 users per week.
Volunteers are responsible for most aspects of the project, from care-taking and maintenance, reception, providing some support and advice. They are a mixed bunch of people with a wide range of ages and abilities.
Teacher Training Placements.
We have space for people undertaking Teacher Training that need a placement for their course, any short course considered.
